Engadget has the dirt on the new gizmos, providing me something to tell people when I'm cornered everywhere I go and asked about new iPads and new iPhones. (Thanks Engadget!) Targeting the new iPad to drop in April with the phone coming in the summer, both as expected. But here's something kind of cool: both will come with a Qualcomm technology that features both CDMA AND GSM chips, so Verizon and AT&T will get the same device instead of building two different versions. The new iPad, as expected, will be lighter and thinner, two cameras, and an SD slot but no USB port. Details are sketchy on the new iPhone but they say it will be a radical redesign.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
