SHORT BIO

Annie Rees is the former intern for Marketplace based out of the Washington, D.C. bureau.

Before joining Marketplace, Annie worked in D.C. as an editorial fellow for Talking Points Memo, covering the 2016 election and Congress. Before moving to D.C., she worked as a reporter at KBIA, the Columbia Missourian and Vox Magazine.

A Missouri native, Annie holds a graduate degree in journalism from University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelors in English from Carleton College
