This final note today. In which the NCAA -- the National Collegiate Athletic Association -- reveals itself once again to be a bonehead.

Louisville, as you know, won the mens basketball championship in Atlanta last night. The school's women play their final tonight in New Orleans. NCAA rules say neither Louisville coach Rick Pitino -- who got a $425,000 bonus for the championship win -- nor the school could pay for the men's team to go see the Louisville women.

The NCAA did give a waiver this morning, which came too late, the school said.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
