Anonymous starts hunting German neo-Nazis

John Moe Jan 4, 2012

Some members of Anonymous (and aren’t we all members of something anonymous ultimately?) have started a website supporting a campaign called Operation Blitzkrieg, which is aimed at disrupting the activities of neo-Nazi groups in Germany. Wait, isn’t “blitzkrieg” a reference to the attacks launched BY the actual Nazis? Okay, moving on. The site will play host to leaked documents related to members of the ultra-right National Democratic Party and other extremist groups. So it’s like Wikileaks.

From The Register:

Nazi-leaks.net (German) already features a list of alleged donors to the NPD. It also hosts what OpBlitzkrieg claims are internal emails, a list of contact details purported to belong to far-right newspaper subscribers, and customer data allegedly hacked from neo-Nazi online stores.

Those mentioned on the site are considering legal action to shut it down.
