8.24.2011 I have a 5.375% mortgage currently I can get a 4.375% refinance. Question is, Bernanke speaks Friday and Obama returns from his vacation with his Plan where will mortage interest rates go, up or down???

Yay, David Brancaccio, Chris Farrell!

I've been begging Tess Vigeland (in my head) for months to give you back your former places in this show!

Would it help if Tess remembered how much we need straight, adult-level talk in this dangerous world - but we don't need the dumbed-down, yummmy, atmosphere our sub-culture has apparently made PC for female contacts for offering it.
Tess is great, but isn't it time we advocated "growing up" in our personal as well as our economic styles? It might even help our survival as adults. Women are really more practical than men, I hear. I wish it showed more often on the "Mony" show.

Best,
Mary Leue (age 91)

I was so glad to hear David back on the program. I hope he will be a frequent contributor. He brings an element of intelligent concern for average people that the program was beginning to lose.
