Europeans like to grumble about their neighbors. It’s actually a kind of unofficial sport in Europe.

“Your country is full of tax dodgers!”

“Really? Well your system is riddled with corruption!”

“You’re all a bunch of uptight selfish martinets!”

“Oh yes? well your lot sleeps half the day and then takes to the streets for the rest!”

“Your cheese stinks like old socks!”

“Is that so? Well your beer tastes like roof tar mixed with goat droppings!”

And so on.

But while this game may be fun to play, it’s not so much fun to watch. In fact, as we’ve discovered over the past few months as Europe’s debt crisis has thrust the continent into the global spotlight, it can be downright confusing. So we’ve invented a short, light-hearted quiz on Facebook to help you understand Europe a little better, and let you join in on the fun.

Answer 10 multiple choice questions and you’ll be matched with the eurozone nation that your personality identifies with most. Then you too can join the fray, and  hurl insults at the rest of Europe as your economy teeters on the brink and your politicians scurry about trying to leverage the situation for their own narrow personal gains.
