Illinois Governor Pat Quinn will board an Amtrak train heading from Joliet to Bloomington, Illinois, today. The trip is meant to showcase part of the state’s new high-speed rail line which will eventually run all the way to St. Louis. Just one week away from the release of Windows 8, Microsoft reported a 22 percent decline in third-quarter earnings.
