If you want to get on Verizon, make sure you do it today or tomorrow. After tomorrow, Verizon will officially moved to tiered data plans. You’ll be able to choose 2GB, 5GB, or 10GB a month, and you’ll get dinged if you go over that. BUT! If you sign up now you can still get the unlimited, all-you-can-eat, download movies onto a phone almost constantly plan. Verizon won’t be advertising this deadline because they’d rather you not know about it. If you miss the deadline, you can try switching over to Sprint and stream music from your Blackberry all day long, which would be a way alternative thing to do when you think about it.
If you’re a member of your local public radio station, we thank you — because your support helps those stations keep programs like Marketplace on the air. But for Marketplace to continue to grow, we need additional investment from those who care most about what we do: superfans like you.
Your donation — as little as $5 — helps us create more content that matters to you and your community, and to reach more people where they are – whether that’s radio, podcasts or online.
When you contribute directly to Marketplace, you become a partner in that mission: someone who understands that when we all get smarter, everybody wins.
