President Obama announced a plan for an expanded federal job training program for the manufacturing sector, hoping to jumpstart the industry and provide more education for young people. In China, some students are finding they’re running out of steam after years of intense work. At today’s OPEC meeting, Saudi Arabia failed to secure an agreement to lift oil production. The German chancellor is in Washington for an official visit, and commentator David Frum talked about the one topic he thinks needs to be on the agenda. A new study shows that nearly one-third of employers are planning to drop health insurance for workers in 2014. Arizona is struggling to handle a wildfire, and pay for its damages — other states around the country are struggling with their natural disasters too.
