The New York Times works around website outage

This final note today. The New York Times may publish all the news that's fit to print. But man, that wasn't happening on its website today.

The paper's site was down for about an hour, leading to some creative workarounds: The Times tweeted out photos; published articles on Facebook; the Opinion section even said:

Thankfully it didn't come to that. The Times apologized to its subscribers, saying a maintenance update was probably to blame.

In the future, just to be safe, you could also just buy the thing on paper.
