This final note on the way out, courtesy of the United States Navy.

For 150 years — since the earliest days of telegrams and teletypes — the official Navy communications system only allowed FOR ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, WHICH, YOU KNOW, MAKES PEOPLE FEEL LIKE THEY’RE BEING YELLED AT.

THEY’RE ROLLING OUT A NEW SYSTEM ACCEPTING WHAT THE WORLD ALREADY KNOWS. THAT ALL CAPS ARE JUST REALLY ANNOYING.

THE BEST PART? THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT WAS IN ALL CAPS.

We’re here to help you navigate this changed world and economy.
