This final note today, which I’m reasonably sure is this week’s sign the apocalypse is upon us.
I have to preface it by saying that I was trapped on a long flight without a book the other day. So I kinda had to watch the movie. Suffice it to say, “Battleship” was without any merit whatsoever.
Which gets us to this: Hasbro, the company behind the two wasted hours that was “Battleship,” has signed a deal to make another couple of movies based on its board games — Monopoly and Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Always take a book on the plane, gang.
