Apple gets another win against Samsung

John Moe Jul 2, 2012

I know there are Apple loyalists and Android loyalists out there. Me, I’m partial to ColecoVision (look it up). So here’s news for both camps.

APPLE FANS

An heroic judge has blocked sales of Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus phone in the United States because the phone, which runs on the not as good Android system, is a dead ringer for the iPhone. Seriously, it looks just like it. Apple, our beloved leader, has a patent on that design and U.S. judge Lucy Koh agreed to the injunction while larger litigation is pursued. All hail Apple!

ANDROID FANS

The oppressive power of Apple was wielded against Samsung late Friday as Apple furthered its ability to prevent competition. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone uses a generic design but I guess Apple thinks it invented the rectangle now. Samsung is already asking for the cruel ban to be lifted while litigation is worked through.
