Gamers disappointed in Microsoft

People seem impressed by SmartGlass, which is good news for Microsoft because the company’s gaming presentation really let down a lot of gamers. As we discussed on our show today, gaming is in kind of a holding pattern right now as a new generation of consoles looms on the horizon. Why build a totally rad new game for the Xbox 360 when the Xbox 720 (or whatever it’s called) is on the way? Nevertheless, gamers were peeved that most of the titles shown off were just updates of old games.

Next up was EA Sports head Andrew Wilson, who, after introducingMadden 13, proceeded to tear open a hole in the space-time continuum, out of which stepped none other than Joe Montana. That’s right, the Joe Montana Sports Talk Football Joe Montana. He’s still alive.
