Atari was once king of video games. But then again Burt Reynolds was once the biggest movie star in the world. Nothing lasts forever. To everything there is a season. Turn turn turn. After many years of struggle and ownership changes, the company plans to make a Big Comeback in casual gaming. The Wall Street Journal reports that Atari has been selling some of its classic games as iOS apps for a while now and doing pretty well. It's also marketing a joystick plus four buttons accessory that plugs into your phone and lets you play those classic games plus a few new ones. A joystick? Really? Yeah, I know. But don't be mean to these guys, they're important historical figures. Show some respect.
