Barnes & Noble coming out with a new e-book reader on May 24

John Moe May 5, 2011

That headline pretty much sums up the whole story because that’s all we know. Man, I shouldn’t have probably used up all my material in the headline. The big leather chair reading room company made the disclosure as part of an SEC filing. We don’t know what kind of reader it will be but it’s an interesting development in light of the recent update to the Nook Color that made it more of a tablet computer than an e-reader. So is this even more tablety than that? I’m sure the company will continue to call whatever they launch an e-reader since you’d rather talk about an amazingly advanced e-reader than a kind of sucky tablet.
