Logitech suspends Google TV enabled Revue box?
That’s the rumor coming out of China, as reported by DigiTimes (they seem to be serving up an awful lot of rumors lately, especially about the iPad 2, so either they have brilliant inside access or are just making crap up to get traffic). Neither Logitech nor Google are commenting on the rumors which say production has been halted until at least some time in January when Google will, I guess, fix…something. But the problem with Google TV hasn’t been the technology, it’s been the legal hassle over networks blocking content to the device. So you can’t watch The Mentalist. Or 30 Rock. I mean, YouTube still works but how many times can you watch the Bed Intruder autotune video before it wears thin?
