Follow the Money: The Influence Tracker

Christina Huh Oct 27, 2010

Wired Magazine teamed up with MAPLight, a nonpartisan research organization, to make the Influence Tracker. Using publicly available information about campaign contributions, you can see who the top contributors are for all 535 Congressmen and four non-voting delegates. Data is updated every 24 hours.

The very top contributors’ logos are displayed on “a NASCAR-style sponsor silhouette accompanying each lawmaker.” Perhaps NASCAR jumpsuits with logos splashed all over could make for a more transparent Hill?
