Wall Street score cards for Yahoo! and Intel

Yahoo refreshed its logo for the first time since the internet company's founding 18 years ago. The new look was unveiled on September 4 and is part of a makeover that Yahoo Inc. has been undergoing since the Sunnyvale, California company hired Google executive Marissa Mayer to become CEO. 

There will be lots of third quarter earnings news from tech companies this week, starting today with Yahoo! and Intel -- companies with new leadership and different goals. Carl Howe, of the Yankee Group, says while growth may remain in question, Yahoo! and its new head Marisa Mayer making all the right moves.
