Dress Use #67: Dirt Tarp

,<a href="http://www.ofdress.org/cheap-chocolate-one-strap-tube-top-cocktail-dress... target="_blank" style="text-decoration: none;">dresses for mother of the bride
Last week I noticed a large puddle in my yard that could only be caused by a damaged drip line. I can't remember the last time it rained here. Fortunately it's chilly now so I didn't have to <a href="http://www.ofdress.org/cheap-white-strapless-beading-embroidery-empire-w... src="http://www.ofdress.org/images/uploads/Wedding-dresses/A-line-Wedding-Dre... fix it immediately. I have had the same thing happen during peak summer heat and just a day or two without water can wreak havoc on my smaller plants. I just shut of the irrigation system and waited a few days until I had time to clear some ground and start digging. I didn't realize how much earth I would going to have to move and after filling up my wheelbarrow I had to figure out somewhere else to put dirt.

My backyard is a special space for me and gives me a lot of joy. I really enjoy everything that goes along with caring for my yard but there are times when I think I may have too many plants. On a recent run I cut through the desert near my neighborhood on a dirt road I haven't been on for some time. From there I could see all of the homes surrounding mine but I could only see my red roof surrounded by a green. All the trees I planted 10 years ago have grown up and with that comes work which I don't mind at all if I can find the time.

I must admit that a lot of the ways I have used the dress were not out of necessity. I didn't really need to jump rope the day I made the wedding dress jump rope and I also had no real problems with birds in my garden when I made the wedding dress scarecrow. But with my earth moving dilemma I had to figure out something easy because with the current condition of my garage there was no way I would be able to track down the tarps I <a href="http://www.ofdress.org/designer-a-line-white-one-strap-tube-top-taffeta-... src="http://www.ofdress.org/images/uploads/Wedding-dresses/A-line-Wedding-Dre... use for camping. The wedding dress saved the day and gave me a surface where I could easily pile dirt in order to get to my damaged drip lines.

Geeze, I'm an organic dairy farmer and I developed and teach a Technical College certificate with 8 courses in Organic Agriculture and I only got 7 of 10 correct.
