PODCAST: Obama cracks down on manipulation, Coca-Cola sells more bottles

Coca-Cola reported higher than expected earnings this quarter.

The White House this morning says that President Obama plans a "crackdown" on oil market manipulation. The president is set to make an announcement in the Rose Garden a couple hours from now. His spokesman says it involves  "increased oversight" of the oil markets.

Groundbreaking on U.S. homes fell unexpectedly in March, but permits for future construction rose to their highest level in 3 1/2 years, Commerce Department data showed on Tuesday.

Coca-Cola reported higher-than-expected quarterly results on Tuesday after the world's largest soft drink maker sold more beverages.

Investment banking giant Goldman Sachs reported a $2 billion profit for the last quarter.

Apple shares fell 4 percent in what's being called "profit taking"which probably makes sense after the stock's 43 percent rise this year.

Shares of Spanish energy firm Repsol YPF fell sharply after Argentina said it is to nationalize the company's majority stake in Argentine oil and exploration unit YPF.

If you want the best coffee, one expert says you should make it yourself; Use a Bodum French Press to bring out the oil; flavor and essence of your coffee blend. When you've made your coffee, immediately take it off the stove and put it in a thermos. Drink it within an hour or two. The advice comes from Howard Schultz -- the CEO of Starbucks. He tells Bloomberg BusinessWeek that he makes his own coffee that way every morning.

How about manipulation on silver? They should stop manipulation on all markets and not just oil. There is a silver investigation going on close to 4 years now (or a full term of a President) by the CFTC without any resolution. Let's see how long the oil investigation takes.
