Your interview failed to ask the most useful question:
What are the legal steps to take in setting up my own will?
While the guest tried to send us all to our nearest lawyer, I am not inclined to believe the process is or should be beyond the ability of the average college graduate.
So, what is the procedure, and how do I make changes to the document after it's filed?

This story was great! I'm actually e-mailing it to my parents who are in their 60's.

Thanks for a great discussion. You asked for questions, and I have one. I don't have a spouse or children. I do have pets, and I would like to make sure they're properly cared for upon my death. I'd like to hear some ideas on what I should do. Thanks so much!
