Hmmm, anybody heard of layoffs in the Public Sector lately?

Private companies have been shedding jobs like dandruff but the Public sector is holding up nicely, thank you.

Now I wonder what percentage of jobs in the USA is in the public sector. Could that be one of the reasons the job numbers don't add up???

I have been with a co. for almost 30 years. Its now owned by Michelin. there were 2200 imployes ,now the jobs have been contracted out . With in 5 more years the only people that will have a job there will have to speak spanish , be willing to work for mimimun wage ,work rotating shift ,with no benefits. Who is going to buy the products that the companys make If we the blue collar workers dont have a job .
