This final note today, which is, quite simply, kind of amazing.

In an interview with Forbes magazine, the new head of HR at Google revealed the company has started providing death benefits. Yes, in addition to nap rooms, subsidized massages and organic food in the cafeteria, you — or really, your next of kin — will get paid. Half your salary. Every year for 10 years. Your surviving children get $1,000 a month ’til they’re 19.

And no, none of that makes up for a premature departure… but, man.
