Tax deadline for 2012 moved to April 17

And this final note. Procrastinators, rejoice! You have an extra two days to file your taxes this year. Today the Internal Revenue Service announced it’s extending the deadline from the usual April 15th to…APRIL 17th!!!

A rare moment of generosity? Not really. The 15th falls on a Sunday this year, and Monday the 16th is a holiday in the District of Columbia. So nobody will be there to collect your money anyway. Sayeth the tax man: You’re welcome.
