Rosie Hughes is an assistant producer for "Marketplace Tech," where she helps produce Marketplace’s daily dive into the world of tech and the way it shapes our lives.
Rosie earned her bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota where she studied classical music and vocal performance. She moved to Washington, DC a few years later to pursue a Master of Journalism degree at American University. Since joining Marketplace Tech in 2022, she’s enjoyed producing episodes about artificial intelligence and the very human stories that appear when we take a close look at emerging technologies.
When she’s away from her desk, Rosie enjoys jogging in her neighborhood, keeping up with The Bachelor drama, and listening to podcasts (duh).
