Here’s a weird little story. A few days ago, a Twitter account showed up under the name @Bill_Murray posing as the famous actor (who, if you think about it for half a second, wouldn’t go anywhere near Twitter in a million years). Worse still, the account was grabbing tweets from well known Twitter comedians and passing them off as his own. He/it gathered 136,000 followers and then started asking them for money and it worked. After the heat gathered, fake Bill switched the name to @dotbizzle and kept stealing jokes. Now Twitter has shut the account down.
So that’s fake Bill Murray doing horrible things.
But real Bill Murray does delightful things like giving speeches and sliding on the base paths.
