Gene Simmons DDOS tormentor gets arrested

John Moe Dec 15, 2011

A few  months ago we told you about how the website of Gene Simmons of Kiss was taken down in a DDOS attack. The attack stemmed from some very confrontational statements he had made about file sharing and hackers. That was all Anonymous needed to shut down Simmons’s site to show him… who’s boss…or something? Frankly, between Anonymous and Gene Simmons, I can’t even keep track of who’s more self-important, my measuring instruments simply can’t register levels that high.

But now, a suspect has been arrested in the case. Kevin Poe, 24, of Manchester, Connecticut was handcuffed, hauled in, and ordered to appear in court to answer charges of conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer. Posted bail, free pending an as yet unscheduled appearance, at which he should TOTALLY dress like Peter Criss.
