Boston tries to ask its nonprofits, universities and hospitals to pay some of the taxes they’re usually exempt from. Health reporter Gregory Warner looked into the $5 billion set aside in health insurance for high-risk patients.
Commentator Amity Shlaes reminded us of President Calvin Coolidge’s budgetary ways. There’s word the Federal Reserve is looking to stop pumping money into the economy.
