Upright Citizens Brigade troop Nice Kitchen gave today’s show a nice comedic twist on the rising price gasoline. Meanwhile, the price of diapers may also be going up. Boston tries to ask its nonprofits, universities and hospitals to pay some of the taxes they’re usually exempt from. Health reporter Gregory Warner looked into the $5 billion set aside in health insurance for high-risk patients.
Commentator Amity Shlaes reminded us of President Calvin Coolidge’s budgetary ways. There’s word the Federal Reserve is looking to stop pumping money into the economy.
