Apple delays launch of PlayBook

John Moe Apr 7, 2011

Waaaaaait a second! Apple doesn’t even MAKE the PlayBook, that’s Research In Motion’s product, the tablet heir to the BlackBerry. Yes, you’re right. But demand for the iPad 2 has been so huge that RIM is having a hard time getting parts for its product. (Sad trombone sound). Specifically, it’s all about the touch panels. Suppliers have sold them all to Apple. Apparently this caused PlayBook to slip a month in its planned launch.
