Federal appeals court throws out net neutrality lawsuits

This final note. We all know everything happens at lightning speed in the online world. Too fast, apparently, for a federal appeals court in Washington.

The court threw out challenges to controversial new rules adopted in December on the way companies can throttle Internet traffic. The D.C. appeals court says lawsuits filed against the Federal Communications Commission by Verizon Communications and Metro PCS are premature. The companies were told they at least have to wait until the new rules are published.
