Going to Madrid? Book a room at the Beach Garbage Hotel

Kai Ryssdal Jan 21, 2011

This final note today. I don’t know that this is necessarily the best advertisement for an international tourism trade fair that’s starting in Madrid, but there’s a new hotel in Madrid. Made of garbage. It’s called — literally — the Beach Garbage Hotel. It’s made of debris dragged up by the tide and found on beaches or recovered from landfills. It’s right that in the main plaza in the center of the city.

No word on room rates.
