From American Public Media’s Marketplace China Bureau in downtown Shanghai, a blog devoted to listeners who want to keep tabs on the hottest economy on the planet. The China Bureau supplements Marketplace’s steady stream of China coverage with insightful, humorous, and sometimes downright bizarre observations on the Middle Kingdom written with a Marketplace perspective by China Bureau Chief Rob Schmitz. The China Bureau will not only aggregate news from around China and provide listeners with what they need to know, but it’ll also provide original content using a variety of media. Finally, The China Bureau will feature commentary from leading economists, consultants, marketers, and business professionals who live and breathe China.
