Today's big news was the announcement of a royal wedding -- Prince William will marry Kate Middleton, his girlfriend of eight years.

The maker of the popular caffeinated alcohol drink FourLoko says it will be taking the caffeine out of its beverages, preempting an expected move by the FDA to ban drinks that blend alcohol and caffeine.

A report in Wednesday's Washington Post says banks and lenders are in negotiations with states to set up a fund for people who can prove they lost their home in a foreclosure that shouldn't have happened.

The Senate will take up a bill making sure men and women receive the same pay for the same work. Some see it as a needed update to the Equal Pay Act of 1963, other think it will be a burden on businesses.

Happiness -- being subjective and all -- isn't the easiest thing to measure. But Britain is about to try. The nation announced it will execute a happiness index, asking citizens about their well-being, to be released alongside other economic indices.

Almost five years ago, Boeing won the chance to build a virtual fence along the U.S.-Mexico border. It's known as SBInet, and it should have been finished by now. The Department of Homeland Security now says it's reevaluating the program.

A Chinese airplane company has announced it'll deliver 100 orders for commercial jetliners. The Commercial Aircraft Corporation is trying to beat out Boeing's popular 737 and the Airbus A320 for the skyrocketing air travel market in China.

The independent Bipartisan Policy Commission, made of former members of Congress and prominent budget experts, announced today its proposal to reduce the federal budget deficit.
