WikiLeaks' Julian Assange to appear on 'The Simpsons'

Julian Assange, the founder of the whistle-blowing 'WikiLeaks,' leaves the High Court after winning the right to petition the UK Supreme Court to review his extradition to Sweden on December 5, 2011 in London, England. Assange will appear on the 500th episode of "The Simpsons" next month.

This final note today, which may well be the first time Entertainment Weekly has made an appearance on the broadcast.

The 500th episode of "The Simpsons" is coming up -- next month, in fact. And EW reports they're going to have a special guest star. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will make an appearance.

Not so easy to get him, though. The Simpson's executive producer was apparently just given a number to call, and recorded him from house arrest over in the UK.
