This final note today on the costs of Valentine's Day. As you know, love ain't cheap. A dozen roses: $75. Box of chocolates: $10 and up.

Or, for something completely different, 83 cents gets you a White Castle burger. And lest you think I have no romance in me at all, they're doing Valentine's Day in style this year.

Mike Kaszubski: Tablecloths over on the tables, we'll have candles, we'll have flowers.

That's Mike Kaszubski, manager of a White Castle in Chicago. And he's gonna be a busy man.

Kaszubski: Every single one of my tables is reserved for tonight, and I even actually extended my hours a little bit.

I frankly don't know what to say about that.

Valentines Day at White Castle. LOL. The story I heard on NPR was that Waffle House was having intimate V-day dinners. It stated the White Castle was the owner of the Waffle House chain. I don't know if the place where I've gone totally inebriated to eat sliders (White Castle brand) as a teenager is some place for V-day dinner. By the way, it was 19 to drink back then in Illinois and 18 in Wisconsin.

I know what to say about it: hats off to Mr. Kaszubski for helping out the local Valentines who can't afford more. Good for him and the lucky local lovers.
