Earnings season continues this morning with a couple of giants: 3M and UPS. 3M manufactures seemingly zillions of things, including, of course, blue painters tape and Post-it notes. UPS, the well-known postal company, tracks global economic activity to an extent few companies can match. What do their earnings tell us about the state of the economy?
