Have you heard about cupcakegate?

A brewing scandal in which a cupcake was confiscated at the airport in Las Vegas, because of concerns about its gel-like icing?

plastic bag.

For more, we went to Christopher Elliott,  consumer advocate and author. He explained why the business of "TSA proof" products just keeps growing.

Oh come on already folks ... it was not a simple cupcake. I’ve seen the pictures posted on facebook, by the woman in question, and it certainly appears to be a jar mostly filled with various layers of icing. Considering all the things I’ve had confiscated over the last several years, I can totally see how this might not get through.
