Thanks for that, Google

Marketplace Morning Report producer Rod Abid was searching for Web for information on the Committee of Chrysler Non-Tarp Lenders today. Here's what Google spat back:

As Rob noted, wasn't the Neon part of what got them in trouble in the first place...?

Come on, the car got me through college, drove nicelly, last me ten years, easy to fix , and it was cheap! gave me almost 30 mph, spacious interior, (more than a jetta). so what if you had .0058 % more chances of dying in a NEON crash. I dont think the neon send chrysler to hell. maybe the viper

The Neon was a fine car. Did you ever ride in one?

At the Neon's release in January 1994, Robert Lutz (then Chairman of Chrysler) said, "There's an old saying in Detroit: 'Good, fast, or cheap. Pick any two.' We refuse to accept that."
But driver deaths fatality risks statistics -published by the IIHS- rated the Neon among the "Highest rates of driver deaths", with 161 driver deaths per million registered vehicle deaths. Average for the Neon class (4 door small) was 103 driver deaths per million registered vehicle deaths.
