Today marks the 40th anniversary of the first known computer virus. Known as Creeper, the virus was developed and released as a test, to see what could happen, by one of the architects of Arpanet, the precursor to the Internet. To commemorate the 40th birthday, the virus is expected to get hair plugs, buy a sports car, and pick up a bunch of CDs by all these bands he's never heard of.
