There’s a joke to be made about a souffle falling or a cake not rising… or something.

In what will come as a tragedy to part of the television watching public: the Great British Bake Off is leaving the BBC.

Two of its hosts are leaving and the whole thing is just a mess.

Negotiations had broken down between the company that make the show — Love Productions — and the BBC.
