Business school students learn leadership from Battle of Gettysburg

This year is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Aside from its historical importance, turns out there are enduring leadership lessons to be learned.

Business schools have a tool to look at leadership. It’s called a DISC analysis, which stands for Domincance, Influence, Steadiness, and Confidence. So what happens when DISC is applied to Gettysburg?

Greg Hanifee, assistant dean of executive programs at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio to discuss.
