Amazon tablet to be here in August

John Moe Jun 22, 2011

Not here like St Paul, here like in the public. Maybe in St Paul. Amazon has been rumored to be working on a tablet computer for a while now and DIgiTimes, which is a fairly good rumor monger about manufacturing in Asia, says it gets here in August. The Kindle hasn’t caught on as much in other countries, people seem to want the extra functionality that an iPad provides. Also, Amazon now has an Android app store up and running so it will be able to move product to support the tablet once it’s live. Also, it appears that the tablet will have a color display, something Amazon has always shied away from in Kindles.
