You can rent Photoshop now

John Moe Apr 11, 2011

Adobe announced an upgrade to its Creative Suite software. No big change to the best known product in the package, Photoshop, except when it comes to pricing. You can now rent that program instead of dishing out $700 to buy the whole thing. For $29.99 you get a plan where you have to rent for 12 months straight. For $49.99 you can rent it without any restrictions. You still have the option of buying the whole thing. The other products in the suite have similar rental plans. It seems like this could get a lot more people getting a hold of name brand software as the world has been shifting to more of an app model.
