CEO happiness is up, which could mean more hiring and jobs

This final note today. A look ahead, if you will, to the jobs report coming out Friday morning.

The Business Roundtable issued its quarterly CEO confidence report today. They’re feeling pretty good about things. Nice for them, but also potentially good for the economy. Happy CEOs are hiring CEOs. More than half said they’re expecting to add jobs and spending in the next six months.
