A list of the most-watched On Demand movies

A new study says the most-watched On Demand movie ever is “The Hangover.” Avail-TVN has put together a list of the most-watched On Demand movies using a sample of more than 14 million homes. On Demand viewing has grown over the last three years with many titles available the same day DVDs are released for sale.

The second most-watched movie – unsurprisingly — is “Twilight.” But the third most-watched On Demand movie is a slight surprise: “Gran Torino.” The whole list can be found below.

In other movie news, Blockbuster shares have plunged among reports that the rental movie giant is seeking bankruptcy financing. On Monday, shares of the Dallas-based company hit an all-time low.
