Physician Kevin Ault shared his travel song, "Storms are on the Ocean" by June Carter Cash. He says the bittersweet song makes him think of his daughters, and who "will dress your pretty little feet, and who will glove your hand? Oh who will kiss your rosy red cheeks when I'm in a far-off land."

Check out the rest of Kevin's travel playlist after the jump.

I spent several years listening only to the Carter Family, or other folk music. But I decided to update, and branch out.

I live in Maine, and spent much of the past 2 years driving around, consulting to rural medical practices. My grown kids loaned me Transatlanticism, by Death Cab for Cutie, and the song Passenger Seat depicts, to me, exactly what it's like to be in a great marriage.

We have lots of "dark country roads, with the strong scent of evergreen". Unfortunately, no one was in my passenger seat, as my husband of 31 years died in 2008 of bone marrow cancer. The good news is that we love Maine, and traveled all these beautiful roads together, often with our children. The bad news, obviously, is that I have to pretend that he's in the passenger seat now, "looking upward, straining his eyes to see the difference between shooting stars and satellites".

It's a beautiful song. I advise checking it out.
