VIDEO: Oil feels so good when it stops

A young resident runs to take a leap into the bayou in Lake Hermitage, La.

The oil has stopped leaking,
loosely speaking.
BP's still tweaking.
Havoc still wreaking.

The drug Avandia
came in handy a
decade ago.
Now we know
the drug attracts
some heart attacks
but, weighing the facts,
the FDA backs it.

Cracks
in the case against Goldman Sachs --
they settle the case,
and the stock reacts.

Earnings season:
so far, pleasin'.
There's a smile on the face
at Morgan Chase
and Alcoa as well as Intel
did swell.

Financial reform
survived the storm,
but it won't stop a bubble.
We're all still in trouble.

The economy's in the gutter,
a ship without a rudder.
Food prices fall, including butter.
But the golfing world is all aflutter
cause Tiger Woods has switched his putter.
He's not made for one putter -- he needs to be free.
I'll see you @marketplace.org.

I love this part of the show. Since you see this comment I am sure you know.

Nicely done and very creative. All the lines fit together and are nicely related!

Please keep the Marketplace Minute going.

Bill, in your "Minute" this morning you referred to "asphalt cement". For your information, that material doesn't exist! Asphalt is a petroleum product used to make a kind of concrete, as well as various types of roofing, and cement is a mineral product used to make one kind of concrete. I'm sure you meant to say "ashpalt concrete". Concrete is a material made of sand, gravel, and a binder to glue the whole thing together... like asphalt concrete for streets and roads! I enjoy your stories. Keep it up!
