It’s tough to track and catch hackers who use pseudonyms, are probably more tech-savvy than most of your IT department, and are located all over the world. So it makes sense that the F.B.I. and British police held a conference call to compare notes on upcoming cases against hacking groups. The call lasted just shy of 20 minutes, and it was also being secretly taped by Anonymous, the most notorious of hacking collectives.

Anonymous promptly released the tape on YouTube for anyone to hear. Needless to say, investigators on both sides of the pond aren’t too pleased. Nobody is sure how it happened, but security experts are speculating that at least one of the conference call attendees’ email accounts had been hacked into and was being monitored. All I can say is “ooooo-weee!” If the police find out who did this. That’s some serious crime-ing that’s likely to get somebody’s Guy Fawkes mask taken away for a long, long time.
