Apple and Samsung are embroiled in a patent war right now. Textbook publisher Pearson is teaming up with Google. Raj Rajaratnam received an 11-year prison sentence today for insider trading, the longest insider trading sentence in history. Some banks are choosing to demolish foreclosed homes. New investment in clean energy is rising. More and more seniors are having to take care of grandchildren, and developers are working to accommodate their housing needs. And we heard about how much the Chinese care about problems in the Western world. Here are the songs we played:

  • S’étient Le Soleil – YelleBuy
  • Someone Like Me – RoyksoppBuy
  • Believer – John MausBuy
  • Something to Die For – The SoundsBuy
  • The Ballad of Speck and Pebble – Delicate SteveBuy
